Termination (Lip) Bar
Description
A termination bar is a metal strip used in roofing and construction to secure and seal the edges of various roofing materials. It is made of aluminum, with a width of 1 inches and a thickness of 1/8 inches.
Termination bars are commonly used with roofing membranes, such as PVC or TPO, to secure the edges of the membrane to the roof’s perimeter, walls, or other structures. The bar is installed by screwing or nailing it onto the roof substrate or a suitable mounting surface, such as a parapet wall.
